TEN out of Five Stars!!
We had an amazing 2.5 month stay and this is the best rental I’ve had in the Palm Springs area. Huge amount of thought put into maximizing the guest experience – instructions very clear, very high quality amenities/supplies stocked so you don’t need to buy things like toilet paper. Kitchen extremely well stocked with everything you’d need. The reclining living room is super comfy and fireplace adds to the ambiance. The view from the back especially at sunset is nothing short of incredible. It’s a much more convenient location than PGA west where we’ve stayed in the past – easy access to the major roads to get around La Quinta. Cheryl is also an incredible owner – walked us through every detail, extremely responsive on questions, and checked in frequently to make sure we were having a good experience. Also went out of her way to extend the rental period during the LA fires so we had a place to stay, including re-orienting her flight schedule to make it happen. I’ve stayed in many lovely short term rentals over the years and Cheryl’s is by far the most exquisite I’ve ever experienced! The decor is gorgeous and the home is immaculate. She has spared no expense to stock it with everything you could possibly want for a truly memorable stay. The house is roomy and the beds are amazingly comfortable. The bedding, linens and actually everything throughout the house is truly Top of the Line! My husband and I were blown away with the perfection of this place!!
It is located on a beautiful lake with a lovely electric boat that my husband and I used often.
Cheryl is a delight to rent from. She is warm, friendly and available if you need anything. The perfect host!

Exceptional Rental
This home reflects very high levels of comfort and convenience. The owners are caring , responsive, organized and personally supportive. Cheryl tries very hard to think ahead so that she will not be needed. But should you need her, she is very responsive to your call and prompt with actions and follow up. Cheryl genuinely wants to help you enjoy your stay.
We booked for a 4 month season but suffered a catastrophic medical event that required a 6 week early departure to continue medical help . Cheryl was kind, compassionate and supportive .
In short summary … you can expect a fine home that is very clean, newer and exceptionally organized, and you will experience very good, proud owners/hosts .

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
We spent two season's ago at the home of Cheryl Capps, and it was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Firstly, the home itself is absolutely gorgeous on Lake La Quinta. The view is spectacular and the use of the boat gives one the opportunity to enjoy the sights on the lake while perhaps enjoying a cocktail! The house itself is newly and I must say exquisitely decorated. The home is fully stocked with every thing you could possibly want. Secondly, the owners are incredible. Cheryl's OCD is to a renter's advantage ! The place is IMMACULATE and any concerns are handle ASAP. And Eric's construction background makes sure everything is done properly the first time! The community is welcoming and the nearby area has every conceivable shopping experience and restaurants one could ask for. After our stay we were so impressed we actually bought a home in this unique oasis in the desert. Linda Z - CA

Relaxing & Rejuvenating
Our family has had the opportunity to stay at this beautifully & well-stocked home. We have been multiple times over the last 3 years & will continue to vacation here making more amazing & fun memories with our children!
Aside from the calm & warm-sunny mornings, we enjoy hitting the pickleball court & swimming & lounging by the pool/spa. To cap off our days, we enjoyed taking evening boat rides to soak in the amazing sunsets! This vacation away from home made this mom & dad feel relaxed & rejuvenated all the while the kids had games, arts/crafts, books & toys, life jackets & pool toys all provided at the home. We had so much fun with the kids & the activities that were there for them.
